Greetings
Hi all.
Just registered.
Long time BMW fan. Many cars, many restorations. First time with a proper Alpina. Just bought a 2007 D3 MT.
I think they've reached the bottom of the depreciation curve, well almost, and won't be this cheap again.
Certainly seems like a polarizing car on the enthusiast front!
I live in Somerset, have just nudged past 40, but still roll around on the floor fixing cars etc. I do all my own work, and like to help where i can.
I'm look forward to chewing the fat on here with you all.
Jon

I looked at it first and the suspension was completely shagged out. The previous owner replaced the shocks and link arms and re advertised it. I looked at a few around 6-7k, but they weren't as clean and all had faults of some kind, so i went back to this car. Refurbed wheels and new tyres were a big plus.
The suspension still isn't right so i'll probably rip it all out and fit something else.
