Someone missed a bargain here:

The ad is still up on Gumtree at D3 [E90] #560 354 - Titanium Silver/FFAT - Anthracite Citrus Cloth/Leather; 2007_57; £3.5k; 171k; Private

and it's popped up on eBay today at D3 [E90] #560 354 - Titanium Silver/FFAT - Anthracite Citrus Cloth/Leather; 2007_57; £6.0k; 171k; Trade

With those miles it's never going to be a £6k car
There are (relatively speaking) loads of D3s to choose from for sale and a few below the £5k threshold

That's the cheapest D3 i've seen recently and as a comparison I'd definitely have chosen the silver one over that. Being a Cat D and generally looking a bit tired with another 10k on the clock versus buying from the previous keeper of 3yrs. No contest!

Do bear in mind the one I linked to is from a dealer who is obliged to sell with a warranty not a private sale That means leggy ones like these are changing hands for sub £3k

Absolutely agree, and given the length of time the silver one was for sale, I very much doubt the dealer paid more than £3k for it

Looks like the dealer has decided to cut and run from this.

Now up as an auction

Quoted as 'MINT'. A 171k car, mint? Only if it's a Polo.

My guess is his rather hazy pics are best used to hide the fact it is very un-mint, and in 'average order for a 171k car'.

To be fair to the car, the previous seller’s (and keeper of 3+yrs) ad showed a tidy car commensurate with age and mileage. As a purchase from them for around £3k I think it was a decent propersition for an interesting daily. At traderz mark up, not so much.
