Most definitely tempted by an Alpina for my “modernâ€, but that effectively means my wife’s car, and she thinks of cars as white goods.
But the Tokyo Alpina dealership is only 10 mins walk from where I live...

At the time of Japan’s bubble exonomy, LHD was considered to have more prestige as it signaled an imported car. That mindset has stuck; its unusual to see a RHD Bentley, Ferrari, Lamborghini - they’re basically special orders.

The Tokyo Alpina showroom is only about 10 minutes from where I live, but it only displays 2 cars; I’ll take photos when I next walk past it.
