No I’m temporarily leaving the fold.
When I was having the Alpina serviced at Sytners I happened to walk across to the new Aston Martin showroom - let you guess the rest! :)
I will be back as I really enjoyed the cars amazing performance combined with economy

Surely it's just to cover the rectification works required to get a 2 yr old, 8k mile car with full manufacturer service history up to standard where it can be sold on their forecourt ... or as you say, they might deserve the $tealer moniker‽

Presumably, as a dealer, they have to provide a warranty and charge VAT in the selling price? In which case, they must have bought for less than £36k

Exactly.

I have to ask, how many here would put £36000 of their money into a car, then put on warranty, pay the vat on any profit and be happy to see a 10% profit?

Hi

I am now the proud owner of Alpoidea’s D4 #148, purchased from Stratstone BMW back in August after a good chat with it’s former owner. The engine is so flexible, the ride is very compliant especially if you compare it to msport suspension with runflats, and, being a Alpina it’s pretty exclusive. It is my daily driver and will have a full paint detail done in November
