m4rt1n's D5 spotted at home 19/04/18

Post by ade and liz flint » Thu Apr 19, 2018 11:51 am

Spotted your D5, Martin, as I was driving through a little Welsh village today at 9:30. Saw the wheels 1st, and saw how well you had it very securely boxed in. Unusual security devices: never seen a Honda CRV on the drop down security of my insurance quotes  Turned round and went back for a quick snap: Crap pic as a result....but here's the proof!

Looks an absolute peach

That's an epic spot!

And surely the earliest in anyone's ownership time?

Great spot Ade!

Yes, the use of another vehicle to prevent misappropriation is a little unusual but very effective.

I was at home but never spotted you, clearly in stealth mode :)

Really pleased with the car. Took it out last night just for the fun of driving it.

We have similar in front of the Cayman side of the garage

I was indeed in stealth: in my Macan which sadly ( but by choice) leaves me this weekend

Yep, great timing - I had to wait just over 3 weeks before I was spotted :D

Not surprising really for some of the cars - you always travelled in stealth mode in your D3BT 'Batmobile' and approaching light speed in the B3S BT...

Harder to understand why the RS' was never spotted though, but perhaps it was because it was Liz's car and people were too busy looking at the pretty girl to take any notice of 'another boring black car'...
