F31 D3 Brake Discs

Post by Jay964rs » Fri Jan 19, 2018 3:31 pm

Hi,
Am I right in saying the F series Alpina’s (D3 in particular), have the standard M sport brakes, similar to the 335d (blue caliper ones).
I think the size is 370mm.
My reason for asking is I’m due to replace my front discs and I quite fancy drilled discs from the M Performance range, but my dealer has advised me they are not applicable to my F31 D3.
Thanks.

I'm sure that the brake set up is Brembo on these cars so you'd have to see what they offer. Pretty sure you could get some drilled versions if that's the look you want.

The strangest thing about the M Performance drilled discs? They’re not drilled...

Beggars belief that BMW would do such a thing.

Ok, so maybe I need to investigate further.
I’ve seen ‘M Performance’ 370mm drilled discs on the BMW website, but the part number is not applicable to the Alpina.
Thanks for the replies chaps, I’ll update if I get any further info 👍
