New owner B10 V8

Post by OPY170 » Mon Nov 06, 2017 3:39 pm

Hello, I've been a member here for a few years now and an observer of the site for a number of years before that but have only just reached my long held goal of becoming a very proud owner of a B10. This is the black one sold through Old Colonel Cars that has been recently commented on in the 'for sale' section.

I am extremely grateful for the advice and help received from another member (I won't name him as he may prefer to remain anonymous) and for his efforts in obtaining info from the previous owner who clearly took great care of the car during his ownership.

Unfortunately I have limited technical knowledge with which to help other owners but will try to compensate with my genuine enthusiasm for the marque. I'm looking forward to joining some of the meets over the coming years and hopefully being able to thank people in person.

Thank you for the kind welcome wishes and in answer to B10BRW I'm based on the outskirts of Wrexham on the North Wales / Cheshire border.

Had a 360 mile round trip to Somerset yesterday, the car really munches the miles with ease; trip computer suggested 29.1mpg, half M-way, half A-roads - I can only assume it must be over-stating the fuel economy as did my previous e39s!

I thought I'd post a piccie of the interior, too; after this I'll shut up!

Whilst I'm unable to offer any technical expertise at least the kettle's always on if you're ever in the area and need a cuppa!

All the best.

don't believe so, however its still shown on some pages but with the word 'sold' in small letters. However I think a lot of ad's get listed automatically as his website definatley shows it as sold. There's a few others shown on line as being available but are also sold.
