E46 B3 Rear Pads

Post by Titch » Wed Oct 04, 2017 6:50 pm

Hi All,

Does anyone have any idea if these are uprated or standard 328ci parts?

Thanks in advance!

standard 330ci parts (not sure if 328 and 330 shared same pads/discs)

I checked on realoem and the 328ci and 330ci have different pads, so I imagine mine would be 328ci as it was the donor car?

Bear in mind that even if the base car for an E46 B3 3.3 was a 328i/328Ci that the front brakes are 330i/330D and the rears are still 328i328Ci.

How can that be so when the 330i wasn;t invented when the 328 was the base vehicle? Surely the cars based on 328's would have 328i brakes then the later cars based on the 330i would have the 330i brakes?

Because the 330d WAS invented when the 328i/328Ci was the base vehicle for the B3 3.3 and the 330i/330Ci used the 330d front brakes.

This is also stated in the B3 3.3 parts catalogue of which there is a link to on to on this very forum.

Thats a good link ta

I knew the 330i superceeded the 328i but forgot there was a 6 month overlap with the 330d. I should have remembered as I had an 1999 330d touring many moons ago

Sorry for the delay. The parts that were identified for the B3 were both from the 330cd. Perfect like for like fit after being around the houses.

Pads: 34216761240
Sensor: 34351164372

Hope it helps!
