Silver E32 B12? A48 Nr Chepstow 25/08/17

Now this may be a ringer...easily sorted if it is!

This morning, 25/08/17, heading west on the A48 1 mile outside Chepstow at around 9:40am.....

I spotted a silver E32 sporting an ALPINA front splitter (logo free) and deep dish alloys. I couldn't tell if they were ALPINA classics as he was going at 40mph in the opposite direction to me in heavy traffic flow and I was on foot walking towards him. Reg number was something like FFZ or FFX and 4 letters. I did whip round to try and see the back but the combo of sun, silver and chrome badging led to a 'can't spot anything' on the rear badge-wise.....I didn't even get the chance to look at the tailpipes!

Genuine....or a busted guys?

Thankfully not another ALPINA Blue spot!

Its defo a no, they didn't produce a silver B12 or at least one that that was sold here in the UK.

Could it have been a B11 and how silver was silver?
