I really like this, I had been hoping an E91 B3S would pop up soon, however I just can't justify the price considering the miles, but as kingjam quite rightly says "find another"!
I currently have an E91 330i, but I can't face spending £20k plus my car to get into this.
So... a bit more saving and then the wait for an F31 B3 (preferably in green!) to appear.

Here you go then, the search is overCB 987 wrote:

By the way, your E91 isn't in Titanium Silver on a 55 plate is it?
It is indeed silver on a 55 plate with a manual box... I'm guessing you might be a previous owner... small world if you are?!kingjam wrote:Here you go then, the search is overCB 987 wrote:

What is the general opinion on how well these cars wear their miles? As nice and rare as it is, £23k seems like a hell of a lot of money for something that may start to have issues...
...somebody please talk me out of going to see it!

£23k is crazy money given the miles. The equivalent 335i would be what, £12k max? The 335i is a fantastic car and I would doubt it's far behind the b3. Especially as you can map the 335i for £500 and achieve 375bhp with silky smooth performance, similar economy, and perfectly good reliability.OggyOggyOggy wrote:What is the general opinion on how well these cars wear their miles? Save yourself £10k and buy the Bmw and a have an LSD fitted and a map. And remove the silly run flats. I think the Bmw cabin is better too..
I've got a 335i and despite trying to better it, I can't. My attempts have included M5s, AMGs, and Alpinas. Aside from the lack of decent noise (which you don't get in the b3 either, the 335i is hard to beat for daily use))..

I popped across at lunchtime today to have a look out of curiosity (I work two minutes away), and thought I'd share an appraisal here in case it helps anyone. Note I'm definitely at the "fastidious" end of car maintenance so I'll try to avoid being too picky!
I'd probably rate it a 5/6 out of 10. It felt dirty (the leather needs a good clean), and it smelled like either a smoker or a dog has been in it (or maybe a smoking dog ) for extended periods of time.
It was also really dusty and looked like it hadn't moved for a day or two.
I'm sure it could be returned to a really nice car if somebody spent time, money and affection on it - but IMO that's something you would do on a £10k car, not a £23k one.
Sounded nice though!
