Excellent decision :dance

When I put a Quaife on #320 it really did increase the drivabilty and upped the 'fun factor' a notch or three - probably the best mod you can make (after a stubby of course :P )

The slight(!) tendency to lose traction is a bane with these, and it got under my skin last time. So, this time it was planned before the car was even bought  I want to know that when we ease the throttle down, it grips and goes in the correct line whatever the bloody road surface throws at us.

Happily that terrible stubby mod is something a shark fin has already taken care of here :P

In their wonderful efficient way Sytner have not bothered to mention that this B3S has Sat Nav and Electric seats, minor detail :wall2
For me must haves.

If this had have been a month ago, I'd have made the finances work.

Ideal car for me.

is this a good price for one of these at those miles, plus how would the warranty work on a car of those miles, thought BMW warranty topped at 100k?

Ade sold #127 not so long ago and that went in a matter of days for what I imagine was a fair bit more than this. Granted that was 50k-ish miles but still, as a Sytner sale, apparently with warranty, it’s not bad in my eyes.

They did sell F31 D3 #004 with over 200k with a warranty so anything is possible I guess. Age is probably the bigger issue than mileage per say.

Indeed. Condition, history, and further, condition, sold #127. She was, and I'm sure remains, a special car. I paid more than this to buy #127 4 years ago, story well known. This is very cheap, and I'd hate to think what trade in was given, but without seeing it it's hard to say if it needs any TLC around the edges or not. You can soon throw a lot of money into a car such as this. Sapphire black wears poorly in my experience (have run 3 in the damned colour :o ), so I expect it's seen some 'Sytner Special Blowover'.

Oooohh

I wonder what Sytner would give me as a p/x for my B3 Biturbo 107 2008 100k miles

Is it still Gary Lott to deal with down there ?
Anyone got his email ?

Unfortunately Gary doesn't deal in used Alpinas, it is left to someone who has no interest or knowledge in the world of Alpina, hence the stupidly low buy in prices.
Said person was in new car sales but was useless, so they promoted him to used car manager :wall2
