It is with much regret that the B5 touring (E61) no 10 is going up for sale. I really wanted to move upto the F11 which is for sale at Sytner but their pricing seems to be a wee bit out of kilter with what in my opinion is reasonable. So i have bought (ahem) an RS6 and gonna tread the darkside for a bit. I am keeping the B5 plate as will return to the fold one day ( promise !)
The B5 has bern impeccable under my custodianship. I took my turn at 82k and she now sits at 107k which is frankly loosening up mileage ! I work occasionally in Germany and reside in u.k and regularly commute rather than fly as enjoy the drive (790miles) each way. The wife thinks im a sadist !
She comes with full BMW service history to 82k then my mechanics look after her with fastidious care. Recently we have fitted new bushes front and rear. New rear alpina discs and pads. New alpina front shocks. since ive had her Shes had 3 oil and filter changes with BMW parts used. I am attending the Sytner meet and will be more than happy to have a chat about a sale. This is a truly regretful sale as I have had an amazing amount of enjoyment from her. We regularly attend the WEC championship and she has carried us to Spa, Nurburgring and Le Mans for the last 3 years and never missed a beat but always drawers a knowing nod from the crowd. Shes a bit handy on getting us their quickly too!
If I could justify 2 black V8 estates in the house then trust me she would be kept but like a fine time piece she deserves a new owner who will use her and enjoy her as she was made to be enjoyed. Hopefully i can part on good terms to a fellow Alpina enthusiast on this forum. So PM me if you have a serious offer around the 19k mark. But happy to wait and sell to the next right custodian. If anybody requires pictures please let me me know and will email or set up a photo sharing site with details.

Another one of my soft spot cars and I would love to have this car as I had Dave Jones' previous one (now with e24man).

Sadly the time is still not right Sad

Has there ever been any supercharger woes with this car or is it still on the original blower?

Early in its life had the charger changed. But regular oil and filter seem to have kept it running as Alpina intended.

It is sold now but will allow the new owner and forum member the opportunity to advise.
