Only spotted the grill badge. I think there are only 3 RHD B12 5.7 and none of them in purple.

Not sure if the B12 was LHD or RHD.

Spotted in Caterham at about 17:00 today

Spotted again yesterday and same location - Friday 16 June 2017 at about 16:45

Had a quick look at the front and the rear, I was a passager in a car which was driving in the opposite direction.

All the badging on the front grill and rear boot looked correct

Did not have time to detect if the car was either LHD or RHD, or if it was a 5.0 or 5.7

B12 E31 experts - any thoughts?

Yes

Unless there is more than 1. If I spot it again I will check the plate.

Seems likely to be a busted. However if it is genuine it will be a Sytner build, then unlikely to be perfect, but a big shame about no engine photo. As this may confirm authenticity either way.

It's LHD so wouldn't be a Sytner build, busted.

I did not check in the photo if it was either LHD or RHD. I wouldn't have mentioned anything about it being being a Sytner build if I just looked at the steering wheel in the photo
