2013 Alpina B3 BT Allrad Parts

Post by CrisT » Wed Jul 06, 2016 2:24 pm

Hello,

I am a new owner of an Alpina B3 and recently my charge pipe blew. After a few days of emails and phone calls, I've settled for an aluminum one from Evolution Racewerks, which should arrive next week.

Other than that, I was looking for different Alpina accesories. My car is fully debadged from factory and that means that I have to find them all :D
I've send a PM to SPA69 about the Deco Stripes, so that should also be sorted.

What I had quite a hard time finding were the "Alpina" and "B3BITURBO" badges that sit on the trunk.
After consulting the Alpina parts catalogue, I have found their codes, which are 5100246 and 5100299.
Even so, I've still haven't found them anywhere.

Also my center caps have faded out for some reason. I also found their code(3613135), but still no one that have them.

Does anyone know a shop or someone that carry these parts?
I would trully apreciate it.
Thank you!

You could ask here regarding badges. But as your car is fairly new I very much doubt they will have them. You would be better off going to your BMW dealership and ask them to order the badges directly from Alpina. Please be aware that Alpina will require proof that you actually own an Alpina before accepting an order for the badges.

Wheel center badges can be bought here.

Thank you for the websites.
I've already tried to get the badges through my BMW dealer and after some persuation, they quoted me 250 euros, which I thought is quite steep.

As for the wheels, I've already knew about Pukar, but my wheels are the C13 design and what they have on their site is not what I need.

I've send an email to both, but I don't think I'll get too much luck

250 euros is about what I would expect. I very much doubt that you will find them any place else. The car is a new model after all. You may find the ALPINA badge on eBay and they are fairly cheap from the dealer. But it is the B3 badge that will cost you dearly.

Hopefully another member can point you in the right direction for your center cap badges if Pukar are unable to supply them.

The rear badges are €107 a piece on the continent. You can however order the B7 'Alpina' rear badge from the F01 from the USA parts catalog. That will be around €37. 51008025862

The wheelbadges are €22 a piece and can only be bought with the plastic attachment. These are for the Classic II wheels though..

You can order through BMW Den Haag in Holland and get around the Sytner mark up on the prices. 'j.vrijn@bmwdh.nl'

Just to give you an update, I've had a rather pleasant surprise from Alpina.

The rear badges are 160 euros, compared to the 250 that BMW had quoted me.
The full deco set is 240 euros.
The wheel caps are 17 euros a piece, compared to the 22 I've paid.
Also, the biggest surprise was the intercooler charge pipe. At 160 euros it's quite far from the 300 that BMW asked for.

As a conclusion, from now on I will definitely ask first directly at Alpina :D

I am very surprised that Alpina will deal with you directly. Normally you would have to go through BMW for Alpina parts. Especially for things like badges.

That's quite strange, as they had been very open and helpful. Also, right on the Alpina website, they have an entire Export team. Maybe they have changed their politics lately.

Thank Sytner for that.
I believe we have BMW UK to thank for that - Sytner have the concession to sell cars but you can get ALPINA parts from any BMW dealer

you try that most parts people have a meltdown for some reason. I have to coach to new ones that start through it!
