Ace Finish in Huntingdon

Post by CarlP » Wed Mar 09, 2016 12:02 pm

Has anybody used Ace Finish in Huntingdon to refurbish their alloy wheels. They have an offer of £250 (inc VAT) to refurbish 4 alloy wheels of any size?

They have a nice photo of an Alpina wheel on their Facebook page.. Just wondered if it belonged to anybody here :-)

TOH's BMW is back after 3 days.

Not an expert but they seem to have done an excellent job on the wheels. Total price for 4 wheels, 1 small crack welded (!!),4 new BMW centre caps , tyres removed, refitted and wheels rebalanced was £341 including VAT.

Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Have booked the Alpina in for later this week. Seems the painting price is the same for any diameter wheel but the Alpina wheel centres will cost and extra £5.00 each...

They even knew about getting to the wheels nuts on Alpina wheels which is better than some garages. I stopped one getting ready to pry off the centre covers with a screwdriver last year ...!!

Wheels done and car back.. Very happy customer. £341 inc VAT. I did supply new valve bodies and anti-rattle pads. All I need to do now is replace the badges on the wheel centres and job done. Excellent service and took 3 days :D

That sounds like an excellent price including the centre caps.

My thoughts exactly. Mine need doing and I'll certainly bear them in mind when the time comes. They are about an hour away from me so might be worth the the drive.

Carlp do you have any pictures please.

Looks good Carl. I don't know where you will get your wheel badges from but http://www.pukardesigns.com/#!alpina/c79s are highly thought of.
