E90/91/92 18 classic alloys wanted

Post by I_MNL » Tue Jun 10, 2014 7:02 pm

As mentioned above.
It's for some one I know, but he said that ALPINA does not make them any more....

Do you know where one can find them or point to the right direction?

Many thanks

Are they the same as those fitted to an e46 Alpina?

If so, I might know where I can get hold of a set! :D

Thank you for the quick reply! Are they similar to those of the photo of your car?! :)

I don't think the E46 wheels fit E9x, different offsets etc. I came up against this when trying to source a set of 18" classics for my winter tyres. You might be able to do something with spacers, but not sure.

I see Ben…

The thing is that this is not fo my car. It's for another E90 3-series (not ALPINA) that lives abroad! And it's not just for winter but for all year long.

At the time I couldn't even find replicas for E9x. I ended up going with standard M-sport alloys

Oh dear:(
I don't understand why ALPINA discontinued the 18 in alloys.
They would be more comfortable than the 19 in. I'd be keen to get them as well!

Yep, they're exactly the same.

My girlfriend ("Hamilton") has an e92 B3BT.....she bought the wheels to use in the winter from a guy who said he was using them on his e92! :?

She ended up putting winter tyres on her Dynamics.

At some point, she'll get round to selling them! :D

Thanks. You say that she wanted to use them for her E92 B3, but she ended up using winter tyres. Why? Is it maybe because they did not fit to the E92? :?:

The guy the wheels were bought from had a D3....the B3BT has different wheel offset's & bigger brakes, so they weren't suitable. This was also confirmed by Sytner Nottingham.

I suppose you will need to compare the figures of an e46 B3s & your friends car.
