i need a break!!

Post by pukar » Wed Mar 12, 2014 7:33 am

hi all,

i have been seriously overwhelmed & overworked lately with custom design work. this means i have not been getting stuff done on time, cheesing people off, and have spent most of my evenings sat in front of my laptop till the early hours instead of doing normal things like relaxing after work, spending time with my daughter..... the lack of sleep has made me ill a few times on top of that. i realise i have not had a break since i started so i'm gonna take some time out :D....i'm going on holiday soon anyway so will not be able to work over that period.

i won't be able to do any custom work until the end of april (new designs, number plates...etc) which is soon after i return anyway.

don't panic though...until then all stock items will still be available through here or the website.

(all the design work i have already commited to will be completed in turn)

i don't mean to dissapoint anyone but hope you guys understand!

cheers!

Good move, you can't keep doing more and more - something has to give.

There are bound to be a few disgruntled customers but I'm sure most people will understand, now I just have a little job I need done really urgently..........

Enjoy it you deserve it, no harm in taking a breather puts things into perspective, plus family should come first in my opionion. You enjoy it and refresh the soul, the decals can wait, have fun... dont do anything i wouldnt do :)

I would suspect that you might not be charging enough for your work!

You certainly didn't cheese me off  thanks for a great service! :D

And remember don't take the laptop on holiday

I know a great cottage in a very remote part of Scotland, no phones, no internet, very peaceful. I'm off there myself at the end of this month for a bit of a rest :D

thanks trev, it is really a tempting offer......i'd love to come to your cottage but i'm not that way inclined :D

thanks for all the love, honestly it is good to hear. i probably don't charge enough for custom work to be honest as i don't think everyone realises how much effort it takes....especially when you're a perfectionist! (i think simon will agree to this too) i am always really pleased though when someone really likes their final product and this is the best part about it, the thank yous...you guys are great at that :D
