I got the GTO this week which in my opinion is the best out of the lot. Although it was the wife's car who got the 'good stuff'.

The pit crew was supposed to come with a gallon of Helix oil which I didn't buy. After several visits to get the required models the sales clerk took pity on my pleading eyes and empty wallet and gave me the pit crew FOC

Still got a brim full tank and it was nigh on empty. I had to use 2 tanks during the week on a trip down south.
Wasn't spotted though !

Now got the full set. Went down to our local Shell station with my grandson and made sure I checked they had the truck as they did not on Friday. Fuelled up we got the truck and as a bonus the girl said a guy had just been in to buy oil and did not want the mini-figures so we could have them. My grandson's face was a picture. He gets heeps of expensive stuff and you would have thought he had won the lottery. (Not that he plays the lottery)

I`ll be going to collect my final 1 today ,I cant believe that i`ve spent £180 on fuel in the past 24 days (although i did have to put 2 lots in the wife`s astra) hope my family appreciates Lego cars for Christmas ! :D
I`ll have to be extra nice to the till girl to get the pit crew though i think
