And here's the XD3 - interestingly it is the same car used at Geneva - now with the alcantara stitched trim (at Geneva it previewed potential future interior featuring innovative LED technology).

To put it in perspective:

You can spec Lavalina on a B3
OR
Buy a vintage (1989) M5

Brilliant coverage Neil, your head must be hurting (not just from all of the Alpina wine you've consumed!)

Managed to 'borrow' an Alpina wine glass or two?!

Interesting that Alpina are now seeming to be using Brembo and Akrapovic for their new cars. An excellent choice.

Not quite sure about the B6 rear carbon spoiler or position of the build plaque but I'll never own one so won't worry too much

Can't wait for some in depth facts and figures for the D3 and of course a good test drive with sounds 8)

Enjoy
Joe

Who better to tell you about the new BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-Turbo than the man in charge? ALPINA CEO Andy Bovensiepen introduces us to the new BMW ALPINA D3 Bi-turbo:

And here is a quick 360 spin of the D3 Bi-Turbo - for those wondering about 19" or 20" - spot the difference....

The D3 gets the same discs and pads - Brembo
I think the new ALPINA Blue brakes look fantastic.

But does ALPINA having switched back to using Brembo brakes and pads mean that the parts are going to be special order from a dealer and very expensive?
