Birthday presents

Post by Charles » Mon Apr 01, 2013 12:14 am

Twas my birthday on Good Friday - not fishing for comments - and I am now the happy owner of a snow foam lance for my new pressure washer, along with 5 litres of Pro Valet Snow Foam :D

After three days in the New Forest supervising the school's Duke of Edinburgh expedition, my Touring is somewhat grubby and I am looking forward to playing with my new toy tomorrow.

Pics to follow but at my age, a snow foam lance is about as good as it gets when it comes to birthday pressies

Age has nowt to do with it.
A snow foam lance would be a handly addition to any car enthusiasts box of tricks.
I could have done with one today when I cleaned my old wagon

Hope ye enjoyed your day anyway

No pictures as it's been too bloody cold to venture out for more than 5 minutes.

Anyway, the car's now down at NOG so they can clean it this time round!

Here we go:

And after:

Must admit to being rather happy with the first attempt. Still got to work out the ideal mix rate and have discovered it is probably best to treat the wheels first - so plenty of trialling still to be done.

Proper "boy's toy" though :D

Funny you should mention aftershave as I also got two bottle of my favourite which I've been wearing since 1983 and it is now becoming quite hard to find.

As for the snow foam lance, I got this one and the snow foam was this.

Just make sure you select the correct fitting for the lance as they offer a range, depending on which powerwasher you have.

Nope on both counts.

You will enjoy the irony when I do reveal ...

Any more guesses?
