Nice one Nick. Looks like a good honest advert and a fair price for what it is. The mileage is higher than my B10 but the maintenence sounds tip-top! If I was in the market for an M5, I'd give you your price without even viewing

Good luck with the sale!

Very lovely indeed, not many left in that condition, shame I'm not in the market as I think a really nice E39 M5 is a thing of beauty I'd love to own one.

Thanks for the comments chaps.

Took me some time to write that add, and I've changed it several times since. Hopefully it reflects just how good and genuine the car is.

I never thought I would sell it, that's probably why I spent so much on it. I miss it now and it hasn't even gone.

The funny thing is, before the decision to go diesel, I couldn't find a good replacement for the M5, without spending well over 35k+

I think that's why I'm so chuffed with what the D3 offers, even though its not in the same class as the M.

Sounds a great car Nick. I'm sure it will be snapped up very quickly. Must bring a tear to your eye to part with it!!!

So, it happened. Yesterday I watched my M5 drive off into the distance with it's new owner :(

I will miss that car, but I am happy in the knowledge it went to someone who will look after it.

Now I can properly get stuck into the D3.
