CAREFUL WHERE YOU SEND LETTERS

Post by rcshott » Sat Jul 09, 2011 9:46 am

A little boy wanted One hundred pounds very badly and prayed for weeks, but nothing happened. So he wrote to God requesting the money.

When The postal authorities received the letter addressed to God, England, they decided to send it to the Prime Minister

The PM was so amused that he instructed his secretary to send the little boy a five pound note, thinking that it would appear to be a lot of money to a little boy.

The little boy was delighted with the five pounds and sat down to write a thank-you note to God, which read:

Dear God: Thank you very much for sending the money. However, I noticed that for some reason you sent it through London and those thieving mongrels took Ninety five quid in taxes.

God moves in mysterious ways.

Scousers used to also pray for what they wanted, but found that their prayers usually went unanswered, so decided instead just to nick what they wanted, and then pray for forgiveness.

He is lucky to get a fiver instead. I thought all goes to the IR and demand for extra income tax as well.
