Car Park Dings and knocks!
Car Park Dings and knocks!
I'm very pissed off just now with the stupid drivers if you want to call them drivers that hit over peoples cars in car parks. I just noticed couple hours ago, that my OSR door and rear side wing have been hit only slightly but enough to take the rear door trimming off and cause a slight scracth along the rear panel. I know this was done today as I cleaned the 528i touring yesturday. The offender has left a nice little green in colour scratch on my rear side panel. Makes me wonder how do these drivers get on when driving at speed. It really pisses me off that these Ignorant scum, pay no attention to other peoples property around them, when parking, driving, what ever you want to call it

Happened to me the other day albeit in the Focus. I parked up and stayed in the car a couple of minutes as I was on the phone. It was at this point the guy who owned the car in the space next to me came back. He placed his bags in the back door just fine, but when he opened the drivers door he couldn't have wacked it on the side of the Focus any harder. It actually shook the car! I hung up and got out instantly to look at the damage, then spun round to face the driver but before I could open my mouth he sped off.
Silly, silly man.

Yeah! Gotta be the bain of us all -
...who respect others. If I MUST park in such places I try to go 30 - 50yds away as most people want to just about drive in the shop door.
But alas, I can be parked far from the door, out on my own and there will always be some clown parked alongside when I return.
I have actually done the following, once... & won;
Take the number of the car each side of you (if you must park in a stupid car park)... easily done with a small recorder. If damage has been caused, BINGO... off to court.
Bit time wasting though, plus there is the chance that you win the case but then have to take the 'offender' back to court in order to get them to pay. Only to discover, "bankruptcy", "pensioner", "no money" etc! Or, if court ordered to pay, the offender simply moves or does not pay. One can become giddy from chasing them!
Soooo! I take the ole rusty pushbike to lean against a 406. If I can find one!
