Giving up smoking.

Ok we have one - here's an opportunity to have one - if you got a point of view about something and want to share it - here's where you do it.

Yeah, I've always chuckled at the 'MAKES YOU INFERTILE' labels on cigarette packets.

Some days I wish it bloody had!
Four kids later and I can confirm smoking hasn't affected me

ah yes, but think how many you'd have if you hadn't smoked!

Never mind an Espace, you'd need a Dennis Super Dart

Dunk, was the name on the front of the bus a co-incidence?

I'm giving you benefit of the doubt that it wasn't 8)

I think, my learned Friends, that I can consider myself an ex-smoker.

8)

Not smoked since the first post, and I've not had any patches on for a couple of days.

I have no desire to smoke whilst driving or after eating - so I think the habit is kicked.

And, since it never actually occurs to me that I don't smoke any more, then I think I can safely say the addiction is kicked.

Rather proud of myself.

Number 077, bless it's little under-braked socks, has celebrated by making a new bearing-failing type noise from something driven by the fan belt.

Sounds excellent and well done.
Some desirable moments will never go, not even after years, so ex-smokers report, but they don't seem too difficult to handle.

I (and the missus at the same time) have stumped out the last fag on the 15th Sept, so a good 6.5 weeks. Not had one. Didn't use any nicotin aids, but the good lady did, as it made it easier for her.

Unfortunately, as I never paid UK prices for fags, I can't save up quickly for a B5

Funnily enough, I got Alan Carr's easy way for Xmas (I think the wife was dropping a hint). Anyway, I finished it last night and quit this morning. Not as far up the no smoking road as you Dunk but I'm coming after you :D

Both of us just passed the 4 month mark without a single fag.
Had a fat cigar New Years Eve, but only puffed a quarter of it as I needed it to light the fireworks.
