If op goes for the d4 id insist they sort a replacement plaque also as bob said been for sale for a while but hasn’t budged on price unlike some other examples namely the alpina green one which started early 30s now at close to 25. Money talks so possible barter there

I agree that the F32 is at the top end - would expect the asking price to be what Sytner would sell for.
There’s a couple of things niggling at me such as the dealer having driven it for a period so haven’t been 100% on it.

Distance is no object for the right car but the mileage on 051 is too high for me.

It’s a shame mileage (is 70k high??) can huge such a detrimental effect on a car, like 051. If it’s been looked after correctly, 70k miles is really nothing for such a car.
On the flip side is a Lavalina interior which really needs to be experienced to be appreciated, it’s just a totally different ambience. Unrepeatable I’d say. It’s very very rare to find a car with this option. Nearly all UK cars have Dakota and probably only a handful Merino.
Of course, all this is in my humble opinion an I appreciate buying criteria will be totally individual.

Hi Hap,

I was in discussions on buying a 2016 D3 and put an offer in on Thursday - waiting for an update on that one, although 72 hours later with no news isn’t positive.
The two I mentioned are still on my shortlist but for me, they need to come down in price by £2k - £3k
