It is not a maximum of 25 cars, they are offering free entry to the first 25 ALPINA cars that register to enter the paddock. Last time I went when they had this same idea I am sure there were well over 100 ( sorry did not count) ALPINA cars from all over Europe.

Also there is no official record anyway, the Guinness record for ALPINA does not exist in any form, so in fact if someone entered 25 cars it would be a record.

The only record is for 187 Isetta cars. The BMW Car Club failed in 2018 to get the record for the most BMW cars at an event at Brands Hatch as they attracted less than 180 it is alleged.

I have suggested to ALPINA Buchloe that this event might be a good opportunity for them to assess if there is merit in trying to obtain at record on another gathering.

However, without going into a massive debate a number of cars were not what I would say are 100% ALPINA, but that is only my view and not an official one.
