Are you sure the B5 has sound piped through the speakers? I thought I read the B5 is all real sound, but the D5S has some piped in. I had a D5S demo recently and it definitely sounded louder than my D5BT.
Thank you. Only 200 miles in so far, on a mix of roads, and loving it. It just feels so nice to drive, certainly as an 'everday'er', as this is for me. I'm still pondering having it de-badged, but going to leave it as is for now.
I can't say for certain, only what I've read. Without reading every single review, again, I just stumbled across this quote; "
The engine sounds superb and completely natural – although a slightly embarrassed-looking Bovensiepen confesses it’s the first Alpina to synthesise just a tiny bit of sound through the loudspeakers – and is completely simpatico with its new gearshift strategy."

Having her detailed next week, so will follow up with some decent photos.

Is there room for a full sized spare wheel under the boot floor?

Unfortunately not. I'll post a photo shortly to show you exactly, but there are two compartments, both of which aren't very deep; 1) for storage or first aid kit and emergency tyre refill + a few other bits you may fit in there 2) storage for the load cover and dog/parcel net.
I'm not sure if you can spec a spare tyre - doubt it given the boot space and exhaust system etc.

Quite possibly. It was/is the showroom model, and it was with them for a few weeks waiting to get into DVSA for the WLTP checks

Sorry for the delay, I know this is of no benefit to you now anyway, as I've already answered your question, but posting pics anyway, in case it helps assist anyone.
