Been busy with the D3 BiTurbo Touring!

Post by DannyB3D3 » Sat Oct 13, 2018 5:23 pm

Hi all! Been busy lately with the D3 BiTurbo Touring! Firstly I have fitted my private reg (D3 TOU) which is hopefully obvious to us (D3 Touring) and asked Gary at Nottingham to make me a set of plates up for this car and my B3 3.3 too so need to fit them to that which is currently in storage.

I have upgraded the angel eye rings and main beam bulbs too bright white so looks a lot fresher and brighter compared to the standard yellowy bulbs and I had to fit new discs and pads to the front so the car is running and driving lovely now!

Really pleased myself with this car and how it looks! Have also bought a full Sport Black Leather interior to go in at some point too!

Hi Andy, thanks mate I’m well pleased too! I bought some cool white H7 bulbs from eBay and there are lots of companies on there that sell the Angel Eye LED upgraded bulbs too if you search BMW E90 Bulbs they all come up just choose a good quality one that says they are error free. I think mine were £37.95.

Hope this helps. In the pics above you can see the before and after.

Sorry for the late reply!

Literally is pretty much a straight swap you just have to unscrew the bulbs and plug in some connectors into the wiring it literally is as easy as that and simple to work out. Hardest bit was getting your hand to undo the screws on the side where the air box is so I removed it and then it was simple or you can go in through the wheel arch. Well worth doing in my opinion.
