Split hose

Post by Philrose » Fri Sep 28, 2018 8:49 pm

To cut a long story short our D3 BT showed an amber warning light with the half engine motif. Error code suggested egr valve (diagnosed by my friendly specialist.) It wasn't and we tried DPF cleaner and a high speed high rev run but that didn't solve it. Eventually they fouund a split hose between the turbo and the intercooler and it's an Alpina specific part and now on order.
This morning, on an Alpina Facebook forum someone posted the same error picture on a D3 BT wanting any help. I gave him my info and lo and behold a split in the same pipe.
Anyone else had an issue with this.
