Ok, so its summer and snow is seems so far away.....

But BMW have a (fair/unfair) reputation for being a bit tail happy in the snow. How do Alpina's hold up in the snow?

As you know, im excited about the prospect of buying my first Alpina shortly, so just preparing myself.

Very much the same as the equivalent BMW - so not good on summer tyres, but get some winters and it'll be perfect Wink

My D3 bt coupe is pretty useless in the snow the 265 by30 Michelins have no grip but being a careful Yorkshire man i gambled and didn't get a set of winter tyres and have only been snowed in 2 days in 5 years ownership. I agree a set of winter tyres would sort the problem

I used my D3BT on winter tyres in proper snow over several winters, and you can drive it safely and with confidence. I think it you tried that on summer tyres though you could be asking for trouble.
