e30 rear wheel guard

Post by e30rapidic » Sun Apr 29, 2018 4:55 am

Anybody have the mounting measurements for these? Picked up a set off eBay.de and hoping to find a pdf of the instructions/measurements before I drill into the chassis.

Thanks.

just wondering if there is a specific measurement or point before I drill a hole in my fender lip. The way the stud on the back sticks out so far, its impossible to have everything sit even close to flush and line up before drilling.

Thanks though.

Mine are part number 4100151 and 4100152, supposedly cabrio specific. Can't imagine there are many of them around!

Cab ones will be specific as have slightly deeper sills than the saloons do.
Either way I think the E30 body is far nicer without them

yes i've got it! full E30 geek mode now. Its been annoying me this.

E30 cabs all came with facelift rear arches which are deeper. The shape is different to a chrome bumper car.

If you look at the distance from the swage line on a pre facelift saloon to a post you'll see a difference in depth to the top of the arch.

I need pics really and you'd see it straight away
