Plus for the the bespoke interiors. A full leather interior is sight to behold and spend time.
And Alpina Classic wheels. To my eye the very best version is the 19" Softline, or even better the rare 20" version optional on the B5S.
Deep dish (especially rears), beautiful thin spokes and centre cap. Unbeatable wheel and so much nicer than newer versions. IMO.

Pro: individuality, and ride and handling of most versions
Cons: HUD and LSD should be standard on cars of this potential. Also....bloody hate BMW customer service: massive turn-off for the brand.

Dislikes:-
Adaptive gearbox

Scared sh**less supercharger is going to go pop.

Awesome performance when pressed
Cruising through France effortlessly at 90+ for 12 hrs
Roof down motoring.
Rarity and depreciation proof hopefully

Look on the bright side Rob, when it finally goes pop it’s one less con on the list. It may last a good while get so just enjoy it in the moment.(yes I know I have shiny new one free but that would be mindset) hey you will lose more money in depreciation in the first year buying a Ford Focus new than replacing a supercharger it’s just how you look at the numbers.
Did you fit a pedalbox to aid the throttle issue?

It had a new one at 18k under warranty, I won't do short journeys in it so it always gets warmed up properly so hoping that helps ensure longevity.
No still not done the pedalox cable, been working on the track M3 too much at the moment and the weather has not been great .....parked outside unfortunately, but will probably do it one evening during the week.

As explained recently by Gary Lott, this is due to homologation of the base cars/engines in the UK by BMW and something which ALPINA have no control over - so don't give Buchloe too hard a timesimon13 wrote:This is the very first time i've known this happen to be fairRufRt12 wrote:Whilst I love my F30 D3 what I DON’T like about Alpina is that, in the UK, we get ‘watered down’ versions of LHD cars (less powerful engines, lack of Xdrive on certain models etc etc...)
