My first post on the forum so Good Afternoon to all.

I am currently looking for a B3 or B3s coupe so joined the forum a while back so as to learn what I could from you knowledgeable people who post - thank you.

That's a great looking car and obviously the mileage counts for a lot, but I'm hoping the price is somewhat optimistic. I wasn't expecting to have to pay that sort of money.

There was a low mileage one sold not long ago for around 15k
If they come up they can start from 8 upwards a few came up at auction with circa 100k for 7 to 8

Thanks hap, I know the car you're referring to. Last year I was intent on buying an e46 M3 and saw it for sale but, due to complete ignorance of all things Alpina, paid little attention to it. Fast forward a bit and I became curious about these mystery beasts and after some researching realised that I should have one in my garage. I'm well the wrong side of fifty so I think it would suit me much better than an M3 and like the idea of the exclusivity of tha Alpina over the much more common, albeit fantastic, M3. Anyway, by the time I came to my senses, someone had beaten me to the car in question (DW, you know who you are!).

I bought my first E46 330ci msport (2001 model) in 2005 and ended up keeping it for over ten years as I thought it was such a great car. And that was despite having to deal with all the usual E46 problems - new front wings, rear wheelarches repaired, seized front calipers, water pump, thermostat, radiator, expansion tank, window regulator, door seals etc etc.

I decided it was time for a change a while ago but have so far not managed to find anything that I enjoy as much as that car, and regret selling it, so I need another E46 moneypit in my life.

Sorry Cygnet for getting to the car before you, but it was too good to refuse 😁 it gets used one a week and drives beautifully. Saying that, cars are always for sale as they say. DW.

At £26k, that car is at least £10-12k overpriced against the market and this does take into account the low mileage

Seems it has been off the road for a long time, this like all other cars need to be used on a regular basis.
I would image that all the hoses will need replacing, that on top of the over optimistic asking price makes it a very expensive B3S.

I remember a few years ago ago buying a very low mileage 1500 Spitfire, looked great, but it was rotten as a pear underneath :(
