B3 at Classic Remise Dusseldorf 02/12/17
A quick visit to Classic Remise Dusseldorf revealed a 2001 B3 convertible for sale. The photos were taken by my wife and definitely better than none. Check out the asking price, is that realistic or are German values really that much higher?
What a great place to visit, I hope I get the opportunity to go back there again one day with fellow car enthusiasts rather than a group of couples.

Second hand values over here for Alpina's much higher than UK, just look at difference in E38 B12 prices, in UK last one I saw was under £20k, over here they start at EUR 30k
Specialist I use for my B8 has a 'basic' E46 B3s Touring 2003 and he's advertising in around EUR 24-25k. He sold a '96 E36 M3 with genuine 65,000 KM on clock earlier this year for EUR 45k

All is well thanks Asim. Apologies I did not get to see you this year, one day I must come over your way and have a look at your growing Alpina collection.Metrics wrote:Hi Jim, how are you? Hope all is well.
The Europeans definitely value older interesting cars higher than us - our secondhand cars are super cheap.

Hi Barry,BarryM wrote:Interesting Jim, I'm not sure whether to say congratulations or commiserations on taking the wife to such a place mine would have been at the shops!
We went for the Christmas markets and had already hit the shops so us boys in the group decided we needed a bit of car therapy. To be honest we knew about this place before going to Dusseldorf so it was a no brainer and the women actually enjoyed it as it was a short visit and a chance to try out the trams in the city.
