Front lower spoiler leaf collector!

Post by Paulb » Wed Nov 15, 2017 7:03 pm

I have a feeling that this has been covered before but I can’t find the thread, so apologies if I’m dupe posting...

Cleaned the car today and spent a little more time on the front bumper as the amount of wildlife I’d managed to collect was substantial. When bending down I noticed what looked like a stray leaf so reached in to grab it only to find the entire area crammed full of leaves!

Half hour later, I must have removed around 100 or more leaves from each side, obstructing air flow to the side of the rad.

The lower air dam directs air upwards towards the rad, so may be worth having a look in that area and removing any detritus that may have gathered! Even found a chunk of Tyre and some broken red lens glass!
Nothing to see here.... move along in an orderly fashion please!

My 2017 D4 is the same and it is a right bugger to get them out, the 2014 version did not have the same problem.
