Changed to summer tyres yet?

Post by Arvi » Fri Mar 17, 2017 6:54 pm

For those that are running winter tyre set up - are you considering/have you changed to your summers yet? Daytime temps are going up, morning temps seem to still be in range of winter tyre suitability. I just have the itch to get the 19" Classics back on!

I'm never up early enough to experience winter temperatures now so summers went on this week. :)

Still thinking about it but when I leave the house at 6.30am in rural Oxfordshire, I am still getting low temperatures, so not rushing quite yet.

In fact, forecast for tomorrow morning is 2C, which is definitely winter tyre conditions.

They will be changed in time for the end of April though :D

I'll wait till the Easter break to change back to summers. Give me a day to polish the Alpina wheels nicely then the car can get back to its proper look.

P.S.
OK, Easter Monday - just changed back to the summer set. So much more satisfying to change this way round than to put the standard BMW winter set on. Back to full Alpina mode now.
