Oddments from B10 V8 touring #178
Oddments from B10 V8 touring #178
Guys,
I've discovered some bits that I'd removed from #178 while doing various jobs. I wondered if there was any interest - particularly from anyone who might have picked up the car after it appeared on eBay. Nothing very exciting, but I thought I'd offer before they get skipped.
There are:
* some plastic trim bits from around the tailgate, most of them broken to some extent, many of them were glued in place by a previous owner
* some items from the standard tailgate toolkit (it was incomplete when I bought the car)
* NOW BAGSIED a set of Alpina footwell mats and boot floor mat
* a spare mk1 satnav/ICE system, comprising the head unit, CD multichanger and satnav DVD player. There is at least one unit that's faulty, possibly all of them, I swapped them for a reason but can't remember why.
* the 9" s-shaped tool to help with removing / replacing the wheel covers
I'm not often on the forum any more so a PM will get a quicker response. I'm not worried about any money for any of this stuff as long as I'm not out of pocket.
Cheers,
Geoff.

Ahhh. One of those. Thankfully we have not had any problems removing our centre caps.Charles wrote:That will be this one hereMCB wrote:" 9" s-shaped tool"

EDIT: All mats have been re-bagsied. I think they might actually go this time around. Thanks for the interest.
Have just been back out in the garage and I find I still have the cabin and boot mats from #178. Looking at my PMs, they'd been bagsied but the collection never got finalised - so they're still here.
A few folks expressed interest via PM but I'm not a regular here any more and don't know who is still active or if the interest is still current. So am offering them again to whoever claims them first, free to whoever wants them. My only stipulation is that you plan to actually use them, not resell them.
They've been tucked away for a while. They are all a bit dirty but look to be otherwise fine. The boot mat has been rolled, is a bit creased in the corners and near the cutout, but the backing looks intact.
If I've still got them at the end of January, I'll offer them elsewhere.
Best to contact me via PM. I don't log in very often at all these days.

Yes, they make it much easer to remove the centre caps by taking the tension off of the lock latch when unlocking.MCB wrote:Ahhh. One of those. Thankfully we have not had any problems removing our centre caps.Charles wrote:That will be this one hereMCB wrote:" 9" s-shaped tool"
