Bad news for Top Gear

Post by B10BRW » Tue Jun 16, 2015 8:35 pm

Just seen that the manic Chris Evans has signed a 3 year deal with Top Gear.
Couldn't have chosen anyone worse.
I for one will not be watching the idiot.
Sytner lent him a XD3 to test, and in the test he loved it but gave it only 2 stars as he did't like the colour, Pratt :no

It's not as if he's going to be presenting a serious car show, guys! Can't be any worse than Clarkson, who is best summed up by his co-star, May. Cock!

I got tired of Clarkson et al, Evans is a bit of a marmite character but it needed someone with balls to take over so who knows!

Can not bear to watch him, or hear him with that high pitched whine, must be the most irritating man on the planet, he is a knob to clarkson's cock

After watching the TFI Friday special - I was pretty convinced this announcement was coming - it was a set up - all designed to hint at this before the announcement.

Best bit of the TFI special was "Baby left, baby right?" The rest of it came across as a glorification of Saint Christopher.

As for Top Gear, whilst he has the energy and enthusiasm, he doesn't have the subtlety and (paradoxically) the understatedness that lets the camera work tell the story.

I'll give it a go but am prepared to walk away ...

I think Chris Evans will do a brilliant job as replacement for Jeremy, Richard and James, who I thought did a fantastic job in making a car themed entertainment show.
