I did have some reservations about the 4 concept but this car looks amazing and can't wait to see one in the flesh or get a chance behind the wheel. Might aspire to one some day.

I prefer that to the "regular" 4

I confess I am slightly disappointed with the front. I just do not like the shape of the lower front bumper, its better than the basic 4 series, but to me looks like Wallace mouth! (as per Wallace and Gromit). Lets hoping when I see this in the flesh it changes my mind and can win me over.

However the rear 3/4 view is a totally different story this view look brilliant!

Another stunning Alpina launched and what a line up they now have. An interesting statement on this review is:

"In 2013 Alpina enjoyed a record year, selling 1400 cars globally and 300 in Japan. The company, which sold its first car in Japan in 1979, usually only sells 200 in the country each year"

Which remarkable as the entry level models (B3/D3) were not really part of the line up for most this year. 2014 may see a total of 9 models presented if a D4 comes out at Geneva. A B1 would cap a great 10th addition! :D
