Post by Mitch_028 » Sun Feb 17, 2013 9:00 pm

PRICE NOW REDUCED TO £10,500

For sale is my 2006 BMW Alpina D3. The car is in excellent condition for the age and benefits from the following features;

•19" Alpina Alloy Wheels which were refurbished in February 2013 by the Wheel Secialist in Birmingham (Covered by 12 months waranty).
•Half Leather Interior with inflatable side bolsters.
•Full alpina body kit.
•Fully automatic 4 position sunroof
•Dual Climate Control
•Bluetooth Hands Free Car Kit
•CD Player with AUX input
•Rear Parking Sensors with LCD display.
•Electric Windows
•Electric Mirrors
•Chilled/Heated Cup Holder in Arm Rest
•Black Kidney Grilles (Original Silver Ones Included With Sale)
•Carbon Fibre Wing Mirror Covers (These are easily removed if its not your cup of tea)
•Rear Tinted Windows (Conformity Certificate also present)
•Full Set of Alpina Interior Mats

The car has covered just under 69,000 miles which is below average for its age and many of these have been on motorways. I purchased the car from a dealer who had sold this car twice prior to me purchasing it and he therefore had excellent knowledge of the vehicle and also the previous owners. It comes with all the reciepts for previous work carried out, two keys, original Alpina leather document holder, Tyre weld & air pump, Warning Triangle and even the BMW Torch which charges in the glovebox.

The car has a full documented service history which shows the following;
•11596 miles - Serviced at Sytner Coventry and included Engine oill & Brake Fluid Change.
•19722 miles - Serviced at Sytner Coventry and inclued Engine oil, Brake Fluid Change & General Vehicle Check.
•27264 miles - Serviced at Sytner Nottingham and inclued Micro-Filter change.
•40511 miles - Serviced at Mark Purcell BMW Specialists and included Engine oil, Air Cleaner Element & Diesel Fuel Filter.
•56507 miles - Serviced at Autokraft BMW Specialists and included Engine oil, Micro-filter & Vehicle Check.
•68039 miles - Serviced at Autokraft BMW Specialists and included Engine oil, Front Disc & Pad Change, Rear Disc & Pad Change, Wear Sensors, Brake Fluid & Vehicle Check.

Other than the disc/pad change and alloy wheel refurbishment, the car also has reciepts for the following work which was carried out by previous owners;
•New water pump @ 46000 miles due to noisy pulley
•EGR Cooler unit replaced @ 53000 miles.
•Air conditioning compressor replaced @ 53000 miles.

The car does have very minimal stone chips to the front bumper but other than this the car is in very nice condition inside and out. The vehicle is HPI clear and proof is in place that the recent finance on the car has been settled in full.

Looks like a good car - exactly the sort of condition, mileage and price I want to pay. Only thing is - I have my heart set on a montego or mystic blue one. I don't think you'll have any difficulty finding a new owner for this though.

Sorry mate; I've been driving round in a similar coloured VW Golf since 2007 and am desperate for a change. I think if I got the same colour car again it wouldn't feel as 'new' as it would if I went for a different colour. Best of luck with your sale though :)

Looks like a good price to me, especially as it has a sunroof. Something I'd love now summers on its way !

Also personally I'd lose the mirror covers and black grill and get it back to original look. May put some people off ! Just my opinion though.

the standard kidneys make the e90's look kack compared to the LCI cars. A good touch I feel.

I do prefer the LCI grill although I only think black grills look good on black or graphite grey D3's. The chrome grill looks better on the blue & silver ones IMO !
