The price was rather good too £201.70 each for 265/30 19 size tyres.
 Excellent price :D. I got PS2 rears for the BT from Camskill, but they don't have the Roadster rears. Nice find - the other Mich options are very expensive!

Car: D3 MT 2007 #352
Front: Michelin Super Sport 235/35/ZR19(91Y) XL
Rear: Michelin PS2 265/30/ZR19(93Y) XL

These tyres have completed 16,248 miles in exactly 12 months and over this last week the grip has become non existent even though there is plenty tread left :( The wear is even across. Just need to decide which to get next to suit my motorway mileage.

Booked in to have a pair of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta from Camskill fitted on the rear tomorrow. Will update when I have an opinion on them.

Hi, just swapped to my old set of Avon winter tyres & a bit shocked to find that the Falken 452's that I'd put on the back in June (this year) were almost completely bald - they had managed less than 4,000 miles.

Now they did have excellent grip in the dry & were quiet but they didn't like standing water, even when new.

I will not be using them again come March/April.

There was 5.5mm left. The guy changing them was shocked when I said I wanted them disposing of. He said they were like new and thought I was saving them for summer. I'm just bedding the Ultracs in, they've done 130 miles so far. The car still doesn't feel right though so thinking of putting 2 on the front too. Would have hoped to get more than 16k out of the PS2's. They're what keep me on the road though so if they need changing then so be it.

Thank you.

I`ve no personal D3 experience but might there be something `amiss` ?

I`ve taken PS2 rear`s down to < 4mm without issue but then the D3 and V8 operate quite differently.

Hope that you sort it out OK.

There might be James, I just don't know what. She's in for a service next week so I'll get the mechanic to have a look. If it still doesn't feel right I'll put new shoes on the front and go from there.

Anna, I'm wondering if you have an alignment issue. My virtually identical chassised D3BT is still running heavily worn (less than 3mm) PS2's on the front and well-treaded (about 5-6mm) PS2's on the rear and grips/turns etc perfectly even in the current 'driek' conditions. Yours should grip and turn-in fine on 5.5mm PS2's! Get a 4-wheel alignment analysis and adjustment done, and see what it shows/gives.

The E90 4-pot chassis has superb turn-in, grip and balance. What do you feel is wrong with yours? Throwing shoes at it gets expensive if you donh't actually know what is causing you to feel it is 'not right'. Remember your car was designed to run at its best on PS2's, so if they feel bad there is something wrong. Bri-E only just got rid of his original D3 PS2's at >30k miles from new and only changed them as they were cracking, not worn out.
