Seems expensive as M3s with similar mileage go for around the same. Not sure of its build number but looks clean.

Must be one of the best B3 Biturbos to go for that price and so quickly, I thought it looked clean, very low mileage too, barely run in as they say.

Re: E92 B3 Biturbo 45K miles
I am interested to know what this car sold for (or was being asked), as the ad has now been removed.
She is #159.
The story of this car in recent times is this. In early 2021 the car was being sold by it's original owner on an Alpina (or BMW at least) facebook page for around £20,000. The car had 42,000 miles on it.
It was never advertised elsewhere, the price wasn't dropped and the demography of the audience meant it didn't sell.
A car dealer from Cheshire (a member on here, James at evolution) saw the advert on facebook and convinced the sellers to accept £12,000 for the car. They obviously accepted!
I saw the car advertised on AT at £17,000. I bought it for £16,000 (as I knew through this forum they had paid £12k for it) in September 2021.
I then sold it to the member above for £15,000 in March 2022 with 43,300 miles. I was about to embark on a new house build so needed the space and cash (it didn't happen in the end which is quite annoying in hindsight).
When I sold the car I can honestly say it was probably one of THE best condition E9* in the UK, let alone Alpinas, with a full Sytner dealership service history to match. It did have the normal N54 engine problems in the past. I saw receipts for both turbos rebuilt, HPFP, injectors, etc.
All in all, I am now regretting ever selling it.

Re: E92 B3 Biturbo 45K miles
The dealer had it for up £24k 2 weeks ago, it appeared to sell almost instantly, then reappeared a few days later (same dealer - perhaps the buyer couldn’t complete?) for I think the same price - possibly a few hundred quid cheaper…..and either way it has now sold again it seems.

So this car has increased in value by £12,000 in 2 1/2 years? So much for the market being slow!
Obviously another one of those cars I should have kept!

Re: E92 B3 Biturbo 45K miles
I've had my B3 e92 coupe build 106 on auto trader for nearly 2 months as I hardly use it and now have a small family it's not very practical the car has wanted for nothing over my 5 year ownership it's had around £8000 spent on it to future proof it I am now how ever thinking about keeping it for a few more years
Re: E92 B3 Biturbo 45K miles
Keep it not long until Alpina is gone
Re: E92 B3 Biturbo 45K miles
Exactly!
I am thinking that was the reason for #159 selling so quickly for such big money. Now BMW own the Alpina brand it is destined to be just another 'badge'.
Future values of really good cars should remain very high.

Re: E92 B3 Biturbo 45K miles
It's all about buying at the right time and right price with these cars. I have had 3 Alpina's and have not lost a single penny on any of them. James Glen had a history of selling a variety of e9x models at strong money so I reached out to them as a tester and was quite shocked with their offer (in a good way). One thing led to another, I agreed to sell it to them and they then sold it on very quickly thereafter. They clearly know the e9x market better than I do and gave me a no hassle sale, so it was a win/win in my eyes.
It was a great car and I wish the new owner the best with it. Thank you also to Andrew for selling it to me in the first instance.
