B10 V8S Touring

Having owned a B8, before I would always lust for a manual box on the B10's though - just fun to drive!!

They never offered a B10 V8(S) as a manual. Barry mentioned he’s contemplating making one though

I realise that Bob, just was a shame as the B8 was only manual and think they missed a trick with the B10.

Sad to see you selling - this is one of my favourite cars in the Alpina community. Such a rare and desirable model, in a fantastic colour and amazing interior. It was great to see it up at Sytner Notts.

I would have been seriously tempted by this if Barney had had it for sale when I was looking at the 3.3 last summer... But 42k is a lot of money even with all the work done. That leather is a great combo with the green exterior, but I agree gold stripes would look better. The 3.3 was pretty disappointing, particularly that example. Didn't live up to the advert hype at all, and I'm pretty sure it had been in at least a minor smash given the pattern of cosmetic problems.

In the end, I totally sold out and got an F10 M5, as it was easy to find a clean one. Hoping to swap for a G31 B5 when, fingers crossed, a few come on the market with the next model release... Most of them seem to be really boring spec and colour though!

Incidentally, I spotted this one, B10 VES, in the background of one of the pics when my E39 was delivered down there.
