It does look really nice. Would have to ditch the red stripe on the piano black trim though.

Yes, the spec was good: LSD, Sunroof, Pro-Nav, H/K & HUD if I remember.

Red trim strip looks like the standard F3x Sport models. I don't mind that, breaks up the black and ties in to the red stitching.

Agreed Bob, the red stripe breaks up the black and I like the red stitching too.

Yes, LSD, sunroof and HUD are quite rare and superb options.

Back up for sale again, this time with a Lotus dealer in Southampton. I really like the fact it still has all the chrome grille, silver spoiler dekor and wheels, really lifts the Melbourne Red. 8)

Evening all,

Not been on here for ages, glad to see the sites still going :) Had a few Alpina's but got rid of the last one last September and i miss it so gonna go look at this one i think. It's on for 28k now, seems a fair price and whilst i was looking for another white one the red looks good. Never bought one from outside Sytner before so not used to used prices, does 28 sound about right? For all the kit its got seems ok to me, and I got 4k more on the 2017 one i sold last year in part ex (although miles were much less). Be interested in anyones thoughts

Thanks
Ian

Hi Ian,

I've just had a look at the advert. Got to love Melbourne red. The only thing that jumps out at me is that the interior could do with a decent clean and the seats need the shine taking off them. The car doesn't have split/fold rear seats if that's something you want or need. Overall though, it presents well enough. Nothing a couple of days giving it a proper going over couldn't rectify.

Cheers
Matt

Really like the Melbourne Red and interior although would have to wait and see if i could live with the red trim bits or would have to change it. Did like the F30 320 Luxury model my wife had and really like the 1 series 118i M Sport that she has now, also Melbourne Red, which drives so alike my previous e36 325i which I had specced M-Tech suspension as well as other M-Tech bits but the handling is so similar I can forego the lack of power.

Would consider this car but not planning on any changes while i get the V8S back no the road which will hopefully be in the next few weeks.

Oops, just noticed the F30 is still in my signature as my wife's/shared car so needs updating.

Thanks for the thoughts gents.
Had a look at it today and looks really nice, would look even better with a good clean you're right Matt. Definitely a contender. I like the HUD, neither of my previous 2 Bi-Turbos had this and never thought i'd wan't it - but i love a gadget :) Love the sunroof, a must for me, like the 20 inch wheels, much better to look at than the 19s (until you need to replace a tyre) and while the rear seat not folding is a pain, I only ever used it to take a bike and it's nothing a cheap back rack won't solve. Needs the windows tinting at the back i reckon to finish it off as well.
Something to sleep on....maybe I'll be back in the Aplina club sooner than i planned :D
