SOLD my 2005 B5

Post by Rubes78 » Tue May 08, 2018 10:22 pm

Cherished example in Metallic Grey (silbergrau)
96k miles, with full service history, maintained by local specialist during my ownership.
In addition to standard options, has been retrofitted with upgraded CIC iDrive with SatNav maps, harddrive, USB and iPod integration. Bluetooth hands free calling and audio streaming also fitted.
Taxed to October 2018 and 5k miles until next service.

Looking for around £18,000.

Lovely car and a quick question

Stunning colour combination, but then I am a little biased as it is the same colour combo as my first B5 about 6 years ago!

A quick question which I hope you can answer please - was the CIC retrofit a fitting you had undertaken in your ownership, could you PM any details to help, as this is something I would consider in due course for my B5 Touring (costs permitting!)

Not a cheap thing to do .
The B5 Touring I recently went to see for sale had the CIC replaced with a price tag on the warranty bill close to £3k

Sold this afternoon, buyer already taken it away. Bit of an emotional afternoon given the sentimental attachment I had to it, but onwards to the next car!

Unfortunately not, a little way off it. I have a limited window to get what I want as my next car so took the hit. As Chris pointed out in the Facebook group, these are such niche cars you're selling to a small select group of people and ultimately they are only worth what people are willing to pay.
