Fully resprayed B3 3.3 175k with history and receipts.

No major problems

12 months mot, no advisories

In that case I would of thought the Alpina would be a cheaper car to run

No, it costs me more to insure than the 540I. I am also in far too deep with the e34 to let it go.

Ok, fair comment.

It would help others if you could post a bit more information about the car. Such as any history and what work has been done in recent times. With that kind of mileage people need to know that kind of thing. Also the full spec of the car and general condition. That way only people who are genuinely interested will contact you through PM. Saving time on both sides.

175k, lots of history and receipts. Regularly serviced. 12 months mot, no advisories. Fully resprayed with new BMW wings, bootlid and badges. 60mph in 6 secs, 100 in 14.5. Switch-tronic gearbox all functions perfectly. Heated, electric, leather seats with memory, electric rear window blind, digital radio, electric folding mirrors, ice cold a/c. Four good Falken tyres, bought as a set. Rear parking sensors faulty, occasionally has fast flashing left indicator (light earth needs a clean). Needs a new headlight washer pump and seat bolster has small hole. Px with cash my way for smaller engined German car, classic preferred.

Coolant changed Feb 14, wheel bearings Feb 15, alternator/water pump belt and tensioner Jan 15, engine mounts, Feb 15, exhaust mount, Feb 15, prop coupling, centre mount and gb mount Feb 15, power steering pump Jan 15. Owned by two mechanics prior (2011-2015, stamps till 2011 127k. I have carried out an oil service with edge 0w30 at 171k
