Re: Quick clean of steering wheel with gliptone
It’s faded quite a lot so may consider dying the wheel

Looks great hap - can't believe how bright the stitching looks. I gave mine a quick clean the weekend but the colours don't stand out like yours!

Looks good Hap
I’ve noticed the colours are far brighter on the E46’s compared to my E90ScooBeeFive wrote: ↑Tue Aug 31, 2021 7:24 pmLooks great hap - can't believe how bright the stitching looks. I gave mine a quick clean the weekend but the colours don't stand out like yours!

Hap
Looks superb. How are you proposing to dye the wheel? What product are you considering? Need to do something with mine.

Not sure Aggie but I think some have used a Carlak brand
Probably by hand with sponge I don’t have an airbrush and would need to tape up the stitching to protect it from the dye, hairdryer to aid drying and bonding
Something like that I believe there is a post on here of this process on an alpina wheel.

Hi Hap,
That's a great looking result! Which Gliptone products did you use? A cleaner and then conditioner perhaps?
Seem plenty to choose from on the Liquidleather.co.uk website...
Cheers
