Post by RBS10 » Fri Jan 18, 2019 4:29 pm

Alpina E46 B3 supplementary handbook in good condition.

Surplus to requirement as I have a B3s. I had to buy a new one from Sytner which was nearly £40!

No creases or grubby hand prints.

£15 plus £2.50 recorded postage

Yeah, was a bit of a rocky start to Alpina ownership. I bought a new trim from Alpina and it was a terrible match to the original wood, it was night and day different. Took it back to Sytner and eventually found a chap breaking an Alpina. Bought the full dash set and the glovebox trim was a perfect match.
Not sorted the caps yet but going to refurb the wheels later this year when funds allow.
The torque converter failed a few months ago so it went back to Sytner, after a few difficulties with the service staff after finding out the TC was NLA from Alpina I was looked after by the Sales Manager.
He sorted getting a ZF approved repairer to rebuild the unit, change the transmission oil & filter. He also agreed to get an Inspection 2 service carried out FOC.
Not using it much at the moment due to the weather and got some trim out to do some subtle audio upgrades inc a Bluetooth retrofit.

Just clicked over 50k miles. TBH it only occurred once when moving the car on the drive. It stored the fault code but cleared after cylcling the ignition and never faulted again before it went into Sytner. Was worth being done whilst still in warranty.
Spoke to the ZF specialist and he said there was not that much wear in it before the unit was remanufactured.
