Hi there,

May I know whether you'd be able to provide the deco kit for the E32? Previously had a local company here in Malaysia to prepare the stripes but it was the ones meant for the E21.

Kinda eager to set things right this time after getting my car back from a full body respray, and I'm pretty much keen on making it look like a proper Alpina:

May I know how much postage would cost to send it over to my address here in Malaysia? Thanks a lot!

Hello,

I am interested in a silver set for the left side of my E32.

(two doors + rear side panel)

The rest of the car is ok, my barrier too...

Is shipment possible for Belgium?

Thank you

Alpina stripes

Post by MICKTHEBUS » Sun Dec 11, 2011 9:11 pm

Can i say a big thankyou to Simon (SPA69) for the stripes that he made up for my E28 B10.The stripes were perfect and even the professional that i paid to fit them for me said that they were of very good quality and will last for many many years without fading or cracking. If you went to the Alpina day at Syners in Nottingham then you would have seen the car. Thanks again.Mick

The lights in the building made all the cars look great.I have shown cars at the Classic Car Show at the NEC before and the lighting was dire.I dont know what type of bulbs they use in the NEC halls but they really wash out any colour and depth to the paintwork. My old capri looked drab under the NEC lights.Image

Now THAT  is ridiculously clean, Mick

The lights were good at Notts as they were in the prep area, so they can clearly see all the defects they send out  and they made me cringe as I could see all the defects on ours  The NEC's were probably sodium lighting which makes everything look a bit yellow and washed-out.

You are right about the lighting,it is that kind of colour. It really does not do justice to the cars that people get ready for the show. The capri was a proper show winner, but never again will have a car like that again.Imagine making yourself stressed out because you were scared of using it! It was great having proberly the best capri in the country but there is a lot of downsides to it.Thats why my B10 will look good on the top but will not be mega detailed underneath,i want to use it :roll:Image
