New member, D3 BiTurbo Touring
Just thought I'd say hello - I picked up an E91 D3 BiTurbo in Montego Blue last week. Have been enjoying running about in it so far
Its the first car I've actually bought for a long time - for the last eight years or so having a car wasn't really necessary due to where I was living / my commute to work so I just hired /used a car club. The last car I actually owned (and in fact, the four cars previous to that) were all E30s. I still have a lockup full of E30 AC Schnizter stuff awaiting the day that I find the the time for a project (and a decent shell to put it all back onto). It's fair to say I was quite smitten - I even used to help out on an E30 forum.
Anyway, back to the intro - a move to a new house / job means that having a car now makes sense again. I fancied something a bit different, and ended up taking a look at a few BiTurbos. In the end I opted for this one - #363, registered in 2012. I got round to giving it a clean today, must say I'm really liking the blue.
The interior is in lovely condition too - half leather, with black trim (the other two I looked at had silver interior trim - not sure if that's an option thing or a year thing - need to do a bit more research on here, I suppose!).
So far, nothing drastic planned. I've fitted a USB Bluetooth receiver in the centre console today, which plugs into the aux so that I can use my phone over bluetooth for music/ calls / satnav. Will prob treat it to some new plates soon!

Welcome lovely colour that
Re: New member, D3 BiTurbo Touring
montego is the best colour they offered
Re: New member, D3 BiTurbo Touring
I initially wasn't that sure about the colour but it's definitely grown on me. If I'm reading the registry data right, this car was the last UK E91 specced with Montego blue paintwork.

Looks fantastic, best colour ever!
I'd be interested to know what over ones you came across on your search as I'm on the look out too. Needs to be auto though.
